LEON MIHALJEVIC - FOUNDER
"I am a dynamic and driven, highly trained dental technician and the founder and artist at Bell' Arte. Croatian by origin, I was born and raised in the Italian part of Switzerland, where enrolled as a dental technician apprentice at 16 years old.
​
I was always fascinated by both art and science, and all of the perfect imperfections that connect them to nature. As a young adult, I searched for a profession that would have a solid, scientific basis, with artistic qualities. I found my answer as a Dental Artisan.
​
After completing post-graduate internship providing restorations for the University of Zurich, I worked in a busy dental lab in Chiasso, a small city that boarders Italy, where I was able to refine my skills and proficiency. I was subsequently recruited to a demanding oral design lab in Silicon Valley.
​
In the San Francisco Bay Area, I was able enhance my knowledge of the industry while refining my skills and learning about new materials and techniques. I quickly learned how to operate at the highest level of interdisciplinary dentistry, in both removable and fixed prosthetics, and was promoted to supervisor. I trained new talent, educated dental technicians, and ensured product quality and consistency. I have served the San Francisco dental community as a trainer and coach.
