Turnaround Times

Single units or bridges, either Zirconia or Lithium Disilicate that are not implant supported have a turnaround time of 10 working days. Holidays excluded.

Implant supported restorations have a 15 working days turnaround. Holidays excluded.

We can only guarantee these turnaround times when we are in possession of all information needed to complete the case (custom shade incuded).

Rush cases

Rush cases are possible for certain products and only if scheduled ahead of time and approved by Bell' Arte Dental laboratory.

Rush cases are subject to an extra fee from $80 per unit and up.

The turnaround time for a rush case is 4-5 working days.

Working times are not guaranteed as unforeseen events out of our control may occur.

Remakes and adjustments

We strive to deliver the best possible product for your patients.

Our meticulous quality control ensures perfect fit, contacts, occlusion and shade.

Adjustments such as adding a contact or slightly modify shade (darken) are free of charge. Adding occlusion when a new bite is taken is subject to charge. We don't  perform adjustments on restorations done by other dental labs.

We deliver our final restorations to your office fitted on a solid model, along with the articulated models, your impression(s) and bite registration (if intact).

If the restoration fits the die and the solid model, and if the occlusion is correct and the requested shade has been followed, all technical negligences are voided.

Remakes due to technical negligence are 100% free of charge.

Remakes due to clinical negligence (impression) will be treated as a new case.

What do I send to the lab to ensure success

The dental laboratory artisan can be the best in the world, but if we don't receive quality informations all that talent is useless.

We work very hard for your success and we are here to help.

To increase your odds of receiving the best possible restoration you need:

Impressions:  clean and crisp. No distortions and/or pulls. Please make sure impressions are disinfected.

Please make sure that adjacent teeth of the restoration are well reproduced, with no bubbles or pulls. Multi unit cases please ONE (1) impression for all the teeth that need to be restored. Margins have to be visible and crisp. If taking triple-tray impression please make sure that the bite is correct. If in doubt please provide a bite registration. Extra impressions and extra articulations are subject to an extra charge.

Pictures: if they are not good, please don't send them. Inaccurate information creates only confusion. A professional camera is always best, but today we have smartphone solutions with specific phone-designed macro lenses and flashes that will go a long way in communicating with the lab.

When taking a picture with  shade-tabs and stump-shade tabs please make sure that those informations are visible in the picture.

When restoring anterior cases clinician must provide accurate stump shade pictures.

Teeth get dehydrated quite fast. Remember to keep the teeth wet while taking the pictures.

Facebow: when working on extensive cases a face bow bite registration is required. We articulate our cases with SAM 3 or Bioart.

We provide the possibility of using our Bioart face bow for your cases as long as they are picked up at Bell' Arte Dental laboratory or requested in advance with the pick up/delivery of another case.

Dentist FAQ
PATIENT FAQ

What is Cosmetic Dentistry?

Cosmetic dentistry has evolved into a branch of dentistry over a period of time. For many years, dental treatments were only used to ensure a patient's general health, but little attention was paid to the appearance of the person's teeth. Thanks to the many recent advances in the field, the art of crafting natural smiles has been revolutionized, and Cosmetic Dentistry is now a widespread industry that continues to grow, even today.

The experience, knowledge and expertise of your Cosmetic Dentist,

as well as the decades of experience of our Bell'Arte team, are all variables that greatly influence the results of your procedure.

What is Custom Shading?

The most difficult challenge in a Dental laboratory is matching your restorations to the shade of your natural teeth. Our products have many layers of hand-layered porcelain, each layer contributing to the different hues and reflections of the rest of your smile. The esthetics involved in this process take a steady hand, a creative mind and many years of instruction to perfect.

Shade matching happen in our laboratory. Because we are different at Bell'Arte, we prefer to see every patient prior to crafting their restoration.

At your Dentist's office, a mold will be taken of your smile, which will be sent to our lab straight away. Ideally, we aim to have begun the fabrication of your restoration before you arrive, which is when photos are taken and our official consultation will take place. It is important, during this time, to be honest with your Technician about your expectations.

What is My Role as the Patient?

It is very important that every patient be given a chance to voice their expectations and concerns outside of the clinical setting. It is not uncommon for someone to tell a Technician something slightly different or even contrary to what was discussed with their Dentist.

A fairly common example of this is when the patient is asked about recent bleaching of their teeth. It is important for the technician to know this information because we can make sure enough time has passed to accurately match the shade of the restoration to the bleached natural dentition. Their dentist, most likely, told them to stop bleaching about a week prior to their custom shade appointment, but you would be surprised how many patients will tell us that they only bleached hours ago. We have even had patients bleach after we see them for a shade appointment.

Please always be honest about these types of situations so we can always ensure that the final product matches the hues of your natural smile.

What do I need to provide to the lab?

Just show up on time and with your teeth clean. We' ll take care of the rest!

Our appointments take about 15 minutes, so it won't hurt your schedule too much..

See you soon!
